UI/UX Design
UI/UX design is about creating digital experiences that look good (User Interface) and feel easy and intuitive to use (User Experience). For my portfolio, I created two case studies: a website redesign for Loretta’s, a local New Orleans praline brand, where I focused on making the site more welcoming, modern, and user-friendly; and an app design called Find My Way, which I developed during the Ajilla’s Young Leaders Development Fellowship. The app helps college students who are undecided or thinking of changing their major by guiding them through resources, reflections, and planning tools to support their academic journey.

Loretta’s Pralines Website Redesign
For this UI/UX case study, I focused on revamping the website of Loretta’s, a beloved New Orleans praline shop known for its rich local history and iconic treats. The goal was to modernize the site while preserving its warm, soulful charm—making it more user-friendly, mobile-responsive, and visually inviting. My design process included researching competitors, mapping user flows, and creating wireframes and prototypes that highlight Loretta’s story, products, and culture. The result is a fresh digital experience that feels both timeless and welcoming, connecting new and returning customers to the heart of New Orleans sweetness.

Find My Way App Design
As part of the Ajilla’s Young Leaders Development Fellowship, I designed Find My Way, an app that guides college students who are undecided or considering changing their major. I created the UI/UX design, logo, and supporting illustrations to make the experience approachable and student-friendly. The app helps users reflect on their interests, explore options, and build confidence in their academic journey—all through a clean, intuitive interface.
